Women of the Word

Who: Any woman along any point of her spiritual journey who wants to experience God's Word in her life, and would like to spend at least 30 minutes a day in Scripture five days a week.

What: Living Beyond Yourself; Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit by Beth Moore. Grow and experience the work of the Holy Spirit by studying the wonderful book of Galatians.

When: Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. (February 28 to May 22)

Breathing Spaces

What: An informal discussion of a scripture passage and how it might apply to our everyday, walking around life.

Women's Evening Study

Who: Any woman who would like to experience the power God in her life.

What: A Woman of Moderation by Dee Brestin. Many Christian women struggle with eating habits. This study combines good nutrition and scriptural counsel to give insight into how to eat healthily as a way of life. Eight weeks of five daily studies, weight graphs, and food programs are included. This also can help address other areas that need balance as well.

When: Wednesday, 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Prayer Ministry

E-mail your prayer concerns to Julia Hooper. These will be distributed by e-mail to those who have volunteered to pray confidentially.

BUMC Prays! Tuesday, May 6, 7 p.m.. No experience necessary, just talk to God. Pray for our church, the needs listed in the bulletin, etc.
