Barrington United Methodist Church has more than 1,000 members and a 170-year tradition in the Barrington community. In October 1998, our historic church home was destroyed by fire, and in 2003 we moved into our glorious new facility at the corner of Algonquin Road (Route 62) and Route 59 in Barrington Hills.

Our church building is handicapped accessible.

The narrative budget slide show shares the story of BUMC -- where we've been, and where we want to go. The slide show was produced in conjunction with the 2008 stewardship drive, Every Member's Commitment.

Our Sunday worship services are held at the following times:

• 8:00 Worship Service in Chapel
• 9:15 Sunday School
• 10:30 Worship Service in Sanctuary

Professional nursery care provided for infants and toddlers all Sunday morning.
